About the Event

March 30th will be an afternoon of community celebration as poets, listeners, readers, and lovers of salmon gather to share their voices. Harold Rhenisch will be reading from his latest poetic collection, “The Salmon Shanties” and sharing his experience of Cascadia - the land and history. Harold will be joined by Stephan Torre, Leanne Boschman, Carla Stein, Ken Cathers, and Kim Goldberg. Community voices will be interwoven throughout the event creating a unified composition of rhythm and language.

Bring your ears, your voice, and share your own love of our region at the mic. Sign-up at the event that begins in Room 1 of the Bowen Park Complex. Doors open at 12:30 pm.
